Love Fashion Music

Living in the heart of Auckland I am surrounded in the electric atmosphere that is the RWC! Although I’m normally a League fan, I recently found myself amongst friends screaming at the TV with mega excitement and pride, and it wasn't just when Sonny Bill decided to strip off either, although thinking back I did scream "ITS RIPPED!" while everyone replied "HIS SHIRT" and I was like "HELL NO...HIS ABS!" On the topic of the rugby and without limiting my audience too much I would like to say to our green and gold neighbors HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! GO IRELAND! Also to our Vodafone Warriors too much! Pretty BOSS to be a kiwi right now!!!!

What’s Hot

I’m not one to stick to trends but its difficult not to conform to the LACE-AGE movement that Fall has bought about. When I was little girl I thought lace was beautiful and expensive, entering my teens I thought it were provocative and too sexy. Now that I am a woman, it’s romantic! Lace is all these things and so timeless! So embrace that lace! Try not to harness yourself in it, you want to avoid channeling Madonna, also steer clear of the after-dark goth look by adding a bright. Lace panels on clothing is a good alternative to full lace garments. And always remember bold patterns teamed with lace is a HELL NAH! Colors to drive this month are 'burnt' yellows, reds oranges ALSO 'neon' tangerines, lemons and corals for a brighter palette ad a nude 'go get em heel' and BOOM! Be a sex kitten and flaunt Bridgette Bardot like locks this month (short or long), tease your hair to create a half up bouffant hairstyle. There are some wicked tutorials on 'YouTube' to teach you 'how to' and in no time you'll pro it! Keep make-up polished, defined eye brows, with neutral eye shadow hues and definitely pull trump with a statement lip have a crack at a bold coral or viper pantone lip.

Fashion Stalk

Its never easy for me to work on a set with hot-as-hell clothing, working with 'Fistful of Bird' was like stepping into the future of fashion, personally for me I felt like a kid in a candy store, everything about this label oozes 'cutting edge' and 'innovation'. Established in 2008 by brothers Sam and Jeremy Galvin, 'Fistful of Bird' is a boutique label that's gaining attention for its premium-quality denim, sharply crafted garments and confident vision. The line is rocker sexy with a posh composition. There is a dark aesthetic and influence while still possessing charm and beauty. AND!!! For the committed environmentalist 'Fistful of Bird' has garments crafted from premium international organic fabrics! Cheya! All this and Kiwi owned! Too much! Find 'Fistful of Bird' on Facebook or alternatively at www.fistfulofbird.com BUT WAIT THERES MORE!!! Be sure to 'LIKE' and 'SHARE' the FISTFUL OF BIRD Facebook page then get at me on my LEO STYLE Facebook page and I am going to choose one of YOU to get something radness sent to your awesome self from the team at 'Fistful of Bird' Sweet deal?

Must Have

'Us' make-up artists have the luxury of working with top of the line make-up brands. But what you will always find in my kit, one of my most relied on products is none other than the very affordable 'Thin Lizzy' 6 in 1 professional powder. More recently however I have fallen in love with their mineral foundation that’s composed of micronized minerals free of harmful preservatives, irritating perfumes, waxes and fillers. Perfect for sensitive skin it also contains an SPF factor of 20. To top it off Thin Lizzy's mineral foundation has natural anti-inflammatory properties and no chemical preservatives. I have recently tried it myself and I am amazed how light the product is but also blown away by the coverage I’m getting. Go to www.thinlizzy.co.nz for more info.

Enjoy the rest of the RWC, fingers crossed its SBW's shorts that get ripped off next! I leave you with words of my patriotism 'GO THE BLOODY ALL BLACKS!!!!!!!'
