Sup Team,
Hope you had as much fun as I did in September. Big shout out to the Homebrew brothers. Myself and Max Dad E had a blast holding down support slots in Qt and Wanaka. Always a pleasure. I have to say the vibe in Wanaka was electric! So electric in fact, I found myself jumping off bridges into icy rivers at 10am in the morning. Although it was fresh to say the least it definitely woke me up after a big night out. Big up to the Critic TV boys as well. You showed true grit indeed. Make sure you check out Critic TV online, they have some choice clips of the weekend’s mischief to check out. Shouts out to Feed Me and all the local crews I caught up with on the road too. Great times hanging with you all. Feed Me was insane!!
I managed to check out my brothers The Upbeats recently at 12Below and it was awesome to see 12below being utilized as a venue again. I can’t remember the last time I got to go out and have a beer and shoot the breeze with some peeps without playing a gig so shouts out to Dirty ol’ Knights, Sound Forge and all the local crew that came along for a wicked night. The gig was also a going away for Sound Forge soldier Reece Turfus so fair well and all the best my friend.
Before I get into what’s coming up in the following month I’ve got to say thanks Pop Bar for having me down On Saturday too. Awesome times with my bro Mr J on the 1’s and 2’s and great atmosphere.
If you missed out on The Upbeats at 12Below earlier this month luckily for you Home Brew are returning down south to play 12Below for Onefest and it’s free with your radio One card. Definitely well worth it for not only the Home Brew show but Lawrence of Arabia the following night too. Not to mention all the perks around town so nuff said... Radio One Card = winning.
If your situated elsewhere in the country hopefully I’ll be paying you a visit as I embark on the La De Drum and Bass tour with Black Sun Empire in Christchurch, Wellington and Dunedin. I’ll be on the road for the Dodge and Fuski Grannystep Tour nationwide too and, with Labour Day looming in October you can expect another installment of the legendary In The Neighbourhood Party at pop and Di Lusso as well.
That’s it from me this month. I have a some beats I’ve been cooking up in the studio calling me so I’m out. Have a great month. And I hope to see you on a dance floor somewhere around the country soon.
CHUR :)
