Circus Records – No Strings Attached EP

The latest and greatest from the almighty mothership of bass heavy dubstep, Circus Records, is here as they finally unleash a smoking hot EP with 4 of the long awaited tracks you will have heard teased via Flux Pavilion, Doctor P and the likes, leading up to the Thunderbirds themed EP release date.  I knew it was close and I think all Circus fans collectively counted backwards from 5, in true Thunderbirds fashion to the arrival of another scale-tipping release.

So 4 tracks from Downlink, Datsik, Boy Kid Cloud, Brown, Gammon and Exponaut hit you with that traditional Circus flair and straight away, I can spot 2 tracks I know Dj’s around the world will instantly slot into the “must play” folder of their Serato. My two favorites by a long shot, Sting – Downlink, Datsik & E621 – Exponaut. Bass heavy, lots of power, presence and catchy to boot gets two thumbs and big toes up from me. The other 2 tracks are great, don’t get me wrong. Both How it Looks – Boy Kid Cloud and Be There – Brown, Gammon, have a great swing and bounce to them and will definitely make the ipod short list.
