It has been an awesome year, and August was no exception to the rule! I played a couple of awesome gigs on my Technique Tour and my latest EP “Party Starter” dropped and is being supported by the like of Richie Hawtin, Danny Tenaglia, Nic Fanciulli and lots of other big players. Sandwiches 8th Birthday rocked the capital this month and lived up to all expectations! A cranking party with loads of people braving the cold to come in support. I road tested my new track feat MC Lowqui which was exciting (catch him at Goldie - Sept 22 at Sandwiches). Why So Serious? feat. Alex Smoke graced Third N Social in Auckland and those in attendance had a great night. Big ups to Jamie White, Tom M, Cyril Orson and Logan Baker for pulling it off.
The boys from Murmur are back at Red Bar on the 30th for a special night focusing on underground bass music and house. Philippa’s Chicago Disco hits Ink on Sept 17th with guests Recloose, Cyril Orson, Logan Baker and Azza. Also, the grapevine is on fire with whispers about parties featuring DJ PP and Pleasurekraft in October - keep your eyes peeled!
What Happened To The Techno? is back at Sandwiches on 10 September with myself, Souladelic, the “Monkey Business” House Mafia and more to be confirmed. Mi Casa Su Casa at Bettys has special guest Jamie D on the 24th. Empyre is hosting a new weekly house rundown, Candy, every Thurs at Terrace Bar. Audio Cortex presents High Calibre 2 at the Garden Club on October 1st; Its Audio Cortex's second birthday so get down and show your support. For the house heads out there, Sonny Fodera is in town and plays on the 2nd at Buddha Lounge Tauranga and the 3rd in Auckland at Beat Boutique. Technique Tour hits Julep, Auckland on 2 September and Elsewhere, Nelson on the 16th. Come party with me!
